This powerful solution is being used to disinfect all equipment and contact surfaces. EPA says it is very effective against COVID and other viruses.
Our staff at Evidence PT in Glenn Dale, Clinton and Laurel, MD is taking extra steps to ensure the cleanliness of our clinic space. You may notice some changes that we have implemented to protect our patients and staff.
Currently, we are encouraging patients to stay home if you are not feeling well. Otherwise, we are here and ready to see you for your appointments. We are also offering Telehealth Services
We are following the recommendations of the CDC, State, and Local Authorities.
We are washing hands, wearing facemasks, sanitizing equipment, and our hands. We encourage all our patients to do the same while in our facilities. We are also limiting the number of staff and patients in our buildings at one time.

Walking this Tight Rope Together
As part of essential services, our facilities are considered low risk of exposure for COVID-19. We also want you to know that we care about your health and wellness. This is a balancing act for us all and we are doing our best to walk this tight rope of providing the needed care while also looking out for the health of our community. If you have pain, aches, injury, weakness, or balance problems we are here to help you regain the quality of life you love. Here is a list of what we are doing in our partnership with you to keep our community safe.
- Temperature Checks
Upon arrival at our office, we will be checking your temperature. Patients & Teammates with a temperature of 100.0 degrees or higher would be advised to return home, seek medical attention, and do not return until cleared by a physician.
We are also screening each patient for symptoms and exposure to COVID-19. Patients who meet the COVID-19 criteria will have their appointment cancelled and advised to seek medical help. They will not be rescheduled until after certified symptom free for 2 weeks according to the guidelines from the CDC.
- Signs and Symptoms
Teammates with suspected COVID-19 symptoms stay home until cleared by their physician.
- Masks
We are mandating the wearing of face masks by all patients and staff in our facilities per CDC and local guidelines.
- Hand Washing
We are constantly washing our hands before and after contact with every patient. We are requiring all our patients wash their hands before and after their physical therapy sessions. Likewise, our clinics have an ample supply of hand sanitizers.
- Social Distancing
We are maintaining 6 feet of social distancing when we are not treating patients. We have also made some changes in our scheduling to promote social distancing between patients while in our facility.
- Diligent Cleaning
Our staff is taking extra steps to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of our equipment and facility. Our staff is cleaning and sanitizing our equipment – beds, exercise equipment- after each patient use. In addition, our pens, credit card machines are disinfected after each use.
Telehealth
Just in case you are not comfortable coming into our facility, we are offering Telehealth Services to provide you with the care you need in the comfort of your home/office.
